There are spaces in this world that are so uninspired that there is no noise.
This is not silence.
Silence is deliberate - a lack of noise to mask a fear of emotion.
The void in those places so uninspired is not silence. It is a fear of noise to mask a lack of emotion.
"Look at how pretty the Earth is," she whispered into my ear, covering up the quiet she knew I abhorred. "It's so...red."
I lied. True. I don't believe in silence. Except when I write.
But then again, words on page aren't really qualified as silence, are they?
